I have good friends who went to the Himalayas recently to do some hardcore trekking. Their stories are impressive but I feel I would be much more suited to the kind of experience The Kumaon offers. I've been working away on The Lisbon guide — full of the most beautiful design addresses in Lisbon, most of which just opened their doors. Expect restaurants with superb views, the best breakfast places, a lot of vegan restaurants and shops, a stunning restaurant filled with plants in a former factory, and the beautiful Santa Clara 1728 hotel (see cover). The guide, available in online and printed versions, is 100 pages with a map on the last. Plan your daily route from one spot to the other while seeing the most colorful houses, trams, and viewpoints. – Pauline,
